Triggers

Hi, my name is Whitney.  I have triggers to my anxiety and anger.

Lack of sleep is a trigger.  Or I suppose it is a factor?  Either way, when I don't rest well, we have problems.  Simple! Just start getting more sleep.  Oh if only.  Reasons I don't sleep well: 1. kids in the bed 2. kids getting up frequently 3. worry about not getting enough sleep and the effect it will have on tomorrow.

Mischievous kids are a trigger.  One day all of  the stunts and shenanigans will be funny.  One day.  Not today.  Not Tuesday at the barber shop either.  I don't like buzz cuts on my kids, no I don't like mischief.

Mission? Not Today

Jake and I did not get our date last night- he was nauseous.  I don't generally dine with nauseous people.  Today he woke up with a migraine.  I took him to the doctor as soon as they opened and he was given a shot of Tordol.  He was feeling better in five minutes.

The boys enjoyed more of the same activities today.  Peyton learned that even at Meme's, he can't pinch TJ.
Time out is sitting away from everyone; Meme's idea
We skipped church this morning, what with Jake being sick and all.  We all just layed around and took it easy.  Ok, so mama's NEVER take it easy- but some people did.

My Aunt Donna decided yesterday that TJ's hair is 'friendly.'  That means one side stands up and waves at the other side.

My grandfather is extremely proud of his daylillies.   I wanted to capture their beauty so I could share with you all.

Hey, I did a good job with the camera!

What I'm Loving Wednesdays (I'm stealing this idea, Buggy)

LOVE....heart multiplication.  Useful for teaching fifth graders how to plug numbers into a formula and isolate a variable.

*lengthy search for an image was negative*

Sleeping in the floor- Peyton that is.  He started requesting last week that he be allowed to sleep in the floor.  I was NOT going to let this happen, (think of the back aches, neck cramps, eck) but my wise husband suggested that I let this one go.  Win the war, not necessarily the battle.

TJ"s hair- Jake likes to say TJ looks goofy with his hair sticking up.  Grandmommy reminded him that he looked goofy until he grew into his ears.  HAHA

5 Year anniversary- two and a half weeks away, I have no pictures to upload that don't require a scanner.....who wants to help me learn to scan real quick??
